First National Bank of PA. was aggressively pursuing new business in the booming retail area south of Erie. This branch’s unusual design assured First National Bank that people would notice and remember them.

The curved metal roof and masonry tower add interest and size to a 3,300 sq. ft. building. The team members worked closely to value engineer this project. The building’s small size on an expensive piece of land necessitated more bang for the buck. Despite a lengthy permit process, the project was completed within the original schedule.

First National Bank of PA wanted to establish a banking presence within the downtown business district of Meadville. The building’s design needed to blend in with the surrounding residential buildings, while including elements that identified it as a commercial building.

The steep pitched shingled roof, vaulted ceiling and brick masonry corner details add interesting features to this 5,300 sq. ft. building. The team members worked together to expedite this project, completing it in approximately 4 months.

First National Bank desired a quick completion to tie with a marketing blitz for their new regional headquarters. In concert with WMF Architects, the budget process paralleled the design documents. The signature curved roof design was finalized and ordered prior to completion of all drawings and even the final cost. The fast track process shortened the overall project duration and the building was available for the increased business.

The 10,500 sq. ft. of space feels larger due to the high ceilings in the lobby area. The glass wall with southern exposure adds warmth to the spaciousness. The unusual design created a showpiece for the bank and its customers to identify with.

First National Bank was pleased with the schedule, the budget, and the value engineering performed by ACI. This comfort level led directly to two subsequent bank projects with ACI.
